5. The Jason Jordan heel turn begins

Babyfaces don’t complain they’re injured and might not be able to compete. They don’t then walk away from a match against another face due to said “injury”. Jason Jordan did both on Raw this past week.

It was subtle. The commentators didn’t even give much mention to Jordan limping away from his match with Braun Strowman. The focus was on Kane’s arrival, and for now the commentators weren’t suspicious about Jordan’s actions. That will soon change. A Jordan heel turn was teased, and we could get more clues on next week’s show.

Turning Jordan into a bad guy is absolutely the right move. He enters arenas to flat reactions at best, and to choruses of boos at worst. Fans haven’t bought into the long lost son story, and can’t get behind Jordan’s character. Have him take advantage of Angle and it’ll soon turn into boos for the right reasons.

Maybe Jordan isn’t Angle’s son at all. Perhaps he’s faked it this whole time because he knew he would be moved to Raw and pushed to the moon by his “dad”. And there’s no denying that Angle has been giving Jordan opportunities as a singles star.

All of a sudden the story would seem more believable, while allowing Jordan to grow into a villainous role.

The heel turn is coming.
