4. Having an Identical Raw and SmackDown Women’s Storyline Needs to Change

Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan have been impressive so far in their short SmackDown run as The Riott Squad.  But there’s a problem with it that’s becoming clearer more and more every week.

Over on Raw, the trio of Paige, Sonya Deville, and Mandy Rose are making an impact as well as Absolution.  The red brand’s trio debuted one night before The Riott Squad debuted on SmackDown and since that time, the similarities between the trios are getting more similar.

Absolution’s plan is to take over Monday nights, but the rest of the Raw women’s roster has been standing up to the trio.  And on last night’s SmackDown, the WWE universe saw practically the exact same thing take place with The Riott Squad as the SmackDown women’s roster thwarted off the trio at the conclusion of Riott’s match with Charlotte Flair.

It’s always cool to see new superstars come in and make an impact, but the WWE seriously needs to consider changing things up with Absolution and The Riott Squad.  The trios are basically the exact same thing and so are the storylines surrounding them.  The company needs to create some form of separation between the trios to differentiate the women’s scenes on Raw and SmackDown.

The WWE needs to change things up with Absolution and The Riott Squad before fans start becoming confused on which show is which.
