2. How Much Chaos Will The Riott Squad Cause in the SmackDown Women’s Championship Match?

Both the Raw and SmackDown women’s scenes have been turned upside down with the addition of two dominant trios.  The blue brand’s version has been the emergence of Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan as The Riott Squad.

This trio has already shaken up Tuesday nights and by doing so, shook up the complexion of the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at Clash of Champions.  The champion Charlotte Flair will defend her title against Natalya, but the ring will be surrounded with lumberjacks, including The Riott Squad.

This opens the door for several storyline possibilities for this match and, in turn, makes it harder for Charlotte to walk out of Clash of Champions with the SmackDown Women’s Championship.  The Riott Squad’s presence could lead to another huge splash as well featuring one of the other lumberjacks in the match.

Many believe there is a strong possibility that Carmella could cash in her Money in the Bank contract on a weakened Charlotte assuming she retains.  Regardless if Charlotte or Natalya wins, Carmella has to be in the back of everyone’s mind and we could see her walk out of Boston as the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

This trio of strong personalities has caused a riot on Tuesday night among the rest of the women’s division, and it could directly or indirectly seal the fate of the SmackDown Women’s Championship in the process.
