1. Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon’s Effect on the Outcome of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura

The angle between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn against SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon has been hot enough over the past couple months.  But adding another prominent member of SmackDown has added to the feud’s direction.

In what began as a heelish duo’s fight against an authority figure they felt was being unfair to them has seen the emergence of SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan in the fold.  Bryan has been an interesting piece of the puzzle in the sense that he sees this storyline from both sides.

He’s all in with Shane O’Mac’s justified opinions of KO and Zayn, but also sees the duo’s side of things given how Bryan came up through the ranks of sports entertainment just as they did.  The next chapter of this personal rivalry will be written at Clash of Champions when Owens and Zayn battle Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura to keep their jobs in the WWE with not just one, but two special guest referees in Shane and Bryan.

The addition of Bryan as the second special guest referee opens the door for a possible heel turn from Bryan, which was teased on the most recent edition of SmackDown.  Not only does that possibility exist, so does the possibility of an Orton or maybe even Nakamura heel turn.  Don’t count out some type of deception from Shane O’Mac either in what would be a major plot twist.
