WWE: Predicting The Mixed Match Challenge Teams

Raw Teams

The Raw teams are a little more difficult to predict because there are so many unique characters and no actual couples on the roster. Also, there could be Samoa Joe, Elias, or Jason Jordan filling in that last spot, and they are all completely different characters.

However, there are a couple easy teams that come to mind right away. One would be Finn Bálor and Bayley. Both are fan favorites that were cornerstones to NXT’s success. Also, Finn has been VERY adamant about Bayley being his partner, and the WWE Universe seems to be all for it.

Another team that seems perfect would be The Miz and Alexa Bliss. Both are cowardly yet conniving and arrogant heels that seem like they would mesh very well together. Their characters are too similar not to pair them with each other.

After those two teams, it just becomes pure speculation. Nia Jax could team up with her storyline “romance”, Enzo, but I think a better option for her would be Samoa Joe if he gets voted in. Two Samoan destroyers sounds like a pretty good team for a Mixed Match Challenge.

Enzo, without Nia Jax, would have to end up with someone else, and I think that someone will be Alicia Fox. Enzo is loud and never stops talking, and Alicia Fox is loud and crazy. These somewhat obnoxious Superstars look like they would be the perfect team.

Another team that could work would be Asuka and Goldust. Sadly, Hawkins isn’t in the tournament, so we won’t get to see a team of streaks, but Goldust is a fair substitute. Both wear face paint, are mysterious, and are a little odd. So, i guess that team makes sense.

That leaves us with Sasha Banks and Braun Strowman, which would be a team of Legit Monsters. Sasha claims to be The Boss, so she deserves the best partner, and it’s hard to imagine anyone better than Braun Strowman. That team should definitely wreak havoc on the competition.

Teams: Samoa Joe & Nia Jax, Braun Strowman & Sasha Banks, Finn Bálor & Bayley, Goldust & Asuka, Enzo & Alicia Fox, The Miz & Alexa Bliss
