United States Championship: Bobby Roode v. Dolph Ziggler v. Baron Corbin (c)

Baron Corbin has had a roller coaster of a time on the main roster.  He is not only the current US Champion but has also won the Money in the Bank and Andre the Giant Battle Royal.  In his short time on the main roster, he has made waves both good and bad.  Leading into this match each competitor has had the upper hand.

Two weeks ago Dolph attacked both Corbin and Roode during their match on SmackDown Live.  This past week Roode would get his receipt and do the very same.  When looking at this match on paper it seems like Dolph is in there just to eat the pin for either Corbin or Roode.  That’s not his fault, but the result of years of booking him to eat losses.  But his recent change in mentality and vibe give him a different edge.

The heavy favorite seems to be Bobby Roode.  The longtime TNA stalwart and the hot prospect has been pushed heavily since signing with WWE.  With Corbin not being the most likable guy on the program and Roode having a strong crowd presence he seems to be the top choice.  I believe that a scramble will breakout and it won’t be Roode or Corbin getting the victory, but Dolph Ziggler.  The Showoff will steal the show and the US Championship.

Upset: Dolph Ziggler
