7. Extreme Rules

Every WWE fan loves when the company goes extreme, and that played directly in the hands to the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.  As one of the most anticipated pay-per-views year after year, Extreme Rules had a lot to live up to.

With no Universal Championship match, Extreme Rules saw a marquee Fatal 5-Way main event that would determine the number one contender for the Universal Championship, and what a match it was before Samoa Joe got the win over Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Finn Balor.  The Miz and Dean Ambrose had a solid Intercontinental Championship match as well.

There was also a very solid tag team title cage match between The Hardy Boyz and The Bar as well as a solid Cruiserweight Championship submission match between Neville and Austin Aries.  There were a couple bleaker moments, however.

The mixed tag team match featuring Alicia Fox and Noam Dar against Sasha Banks and Rich Swann wasn’t the best match and the Kendo Stick on a Pole match between Alexa Bliss and Bayley was borderline horrendous.  But outside of a couple weak moments, Extreme Rules 2017 was a very solid show overall.

Extreme Rules 2017 was one of the better pay-per-views for not only the Raw brand this year, but the entire WWE.
