WWE WrestleMania 34: 5 Possible Women’s Singles Matches

Paige vs. Asuka

Paige’s return to WWE has been just about everything the WWE Universe could have hoped for, because her “Absolution” stable has made a real impact on Monday nights. With Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville by her side, Paige has been wreaking havoc on the Raw Women’s Division, whether it’s Bayley, Sasha Banks, or Alexa Bliss.

Absolution has set its eyes on Asuka, who is undefeated in WWE and is the most fearsome competitor in the company. Her undefeated streak is longer and more impressive than Bill Goldberg’s in WCW, mostly because Asuka’s matches are actually layered, interesting stories. Bayley, Ember Moon, Nikki Cross, and so many more women have had great matches with the fearless Asuka, who stared down all three members of Absolution down at one point.

As a WrestleMania match, Paige vs. Asuka would be a home run, and there are so many ways they could build to it at the Rumble. They could have Asuka eliminate Rose and Deville, only for the two to help Paige cheat to win the Rumble. It may be a bad idea for the first ever women’s Rumble to have an unclean finish, so Paige could win via other means. Then to set up the match, Paige could take the title off of Bliss, since the two have been arguing recently.

Paige and Asuka are two of the most prominent performers in the Raw Women’s Division, and they could easily be in a marquee program for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania.
