No. 5: Elias

Elias’ guitar getup might be seen as a mid-card act, but my goodness he gets over more than just about any heel in WWE. Seriously, only The Miz garners more heat than him.

Did you see the Christmas special of Raw? The crowd completely ate it up when Elias referred to hometown hero CM Punk.

When you’re getting that kind of reaction, that means you’re doing something right. He knows how to play with the crowd, and there are few superstars who could do it better than Elias.

Most of his work is more exposed on the mic, but he can actually wrestle. He’s proven to be capable of battling big-time babyfaces such as Finn Balor. However, he’s also shown great in-ring chemistry with John Cena — the biggest star of the century.

Elias is a world-class heel with excellent mic skills, a unique gimmick and good in-ring skills. Because of those traits, he could emerge as a potential world title-holder in 2018.

In fact, if Raw is indeed holding a “Money in the Bank” match, Elias looks like a prime candidate to emerge as the victor. From then on, the “Elias World Tour” will be on display for more than just his incredible guitar skills.
