No. 1: Braun Strowman

If Braun Strowman doesn’t win the Universal championship in 2018, I’ll be absolutely shocked.

Strowman is a larger-than-life character who’s absolutely over with the crowd. He has undeniable charisma. He doesn’t need the mic to be a main-event superstar. His physical presence is imposing, and it’s enough to make him a captivating superstar.

He also hasn’t disappointed in big-time feuds. In his showdowns with Roman Reigns, he made the WWE’s golden boy look absolutely afraid of him. Over the course of Brock Lesnar’s Universal title reign, Strowman has looked like the only credible threat to end his run.

Strowman also produces OMG moments that captivate the WWE. Just think about what happened this past year. He tipped over an ambulance truck and emerged out of one to return after recovering from injury. He created a gif-worthy moment when he effortlessly launched a chair at Roman Reigns. At Summer Slam, he tossed Brock Lesnar around like a rag doll. He power-slammed the ginormous Big Show into a steel cage. Let’s not forget his run-in with The Miz and his Miztourage that emulated a Frankenstein scene.
