5. Sasha Banks
The Boss is arguably the most talented in ring performer that the women’s division has ever had. She is also incredibly over with the WWE Universe as a babyface. So, she sounds like the perfect candidate to win the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match.
The only problem is that WWE has a weird way of forgetting they have such a talented performer on their roster. Sasha has seemingly faded into the background of the women’s division with the focus being on the likes of Absolution, Asuka and the weird triangle of Nia, Bliss, and Enzo being at the forefront.
So, it would be difficult to have her built up as Raw’s top star in the women’s division when they have focused on others for so long. Luckily, however, Sasha has the pedigree of being a four time Raw Women’s Champion, so it shouldn’t be difficult to build her right back up as the division’s spotlight if she wins.
The one big problem, though, is that Alexa Bliss is the current Raw Women’s Champion, and she has already had a lengthy feud with Banks over the title in the recent past. If we were to see these two at WrestleMania battle it out, it just wouldn’t be as special.
But, with Asuka seemingly entering a feud with Bliss over the title, that may open up a great first time ever match at WrestleMania: Women’s Royal Rumble Winner Sasha Banks vs. The Raw Women’s Champion Asuka.
