1. Asuka
No one is ready for Asuka. And that includes all other 29 entrants in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble. Asuka is undefeated in her WWE career so far as she has torn it up in NXT and, unlike other call ups, hasn’t stumbled with the transition to the main roster.
Even though a loss in the Royal Rumble match wouldn’t affect her undefeated record (she lost a battle royal in NXT), it certainly wouldn’t help her aura of being undefeated. If Asuka is going to be built as someone on a level higher than everyone else, it needs to be shown.
Asuka standing over 29 fallen victims is the best way to capture Asuka’s presence in WWE. It also would skyrocket her to a permanent position in the spotlight of the women’s division. And, Asuka is charismatic and talented enough to handle that spotlight and the weight of the Women’s Evolution on her back.
The only problem is that she already defeated the Raw Women’s Champion on Raw, so why would we want to see that match again at WrestleMania. Well, there’s always a chance that Bliss could lose the title to someone like Paige before then, and if not, these two are definitely capable of another level worthy of WrestleMania.
