WWE Royal Rumble 2018: 3 Possible Universal Title Match Finishes
By Dalton Quix
A Monster, a Machine, and a Beast will all step in the ring at WWE Royal Rumble 2018, but which one will come out as the Universal Champion?
WWE’s perennial part timer, Brock Lesnar, has held the Universal Championship since he defeated Goldberg for it at WrestleMania 34. Since then, he has made rare appearances on Raw and has defended the belt on a few PPVs.
He has defeated Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, and Roman Reigns in a fatal four way match at SummerSlam, he defeated Joe and Braun in singles competition, too. He also defeated the Phenomenal AJ Styles at Survivor Series, but that was a nontitle match (his first in a long while).
So, now we are at WWE Royal Rumble 2018, and Brock needed an opponent. Many thought that Finn would be lined up for his rematch for the belt he never lost here, but WWE decided to go in a different direction.
Braun Strowman has the hot hand as a mega babyface for Raw, but since he already faced BRock one on one, they had to shake things up. So, the newly reestablished Kane has stepped into the scene for what could be his last run on top.
Now, we have Braun Strowman, Brock Lesnar, and Kane all stepping into the ring and fighting over the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble. These are three of WWE’s most dominant big men, so anything could happen in this match.
But, with this being a Brock Lesnar match, let’s look at the real possibilities for how this match could end.
