2. Braun Strowman Pins Kane
Braun Strowman is a man of the people. When the people chant for one more powerslam, he gives them one more powerslam. When they want Roman Reigns dead, he flips over his ambulance, and when they want Strowman as Universal Champion, he just may become Universal Champion.
Now, it is pretty obvious that Kane, at the age of 50, isn’t expected to win and become champion, so he really is only in this match to take the pin. The only question is: who will he take the pin for?
While the obvious answer is Brock Lesnar, an argument can be made for Braun Strowman. Strowman, a true monster who helped carry Raw in 2017, is deserving of a run with the Universal Championship, and he could win the belt without hurting Lesnar’s aura or WrestleMania plans.
Braun Strowman could take Lesnar out of the match like he did at SummerSlam and then go on to powerslam and pin Kane for the Universal Championship. Then, the next WWE PPV is Elimination Chamber.
If the belt is defended inside the chamber, a loss in a multiman match wouldn’t hurt Braun’s aura, and Brock would be able to pick the title back up and head into WrestleMania ready to face Roman Reigns.
OR, we could even add Braun Strowman to that match, too. After all, he would be deserving of a rematch and has already defeated Reigns multiple times in the past. So, could Strowman pull off the upset? I sure hope so.
