1. Braun Strowman

Yes, I know Strowman is challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title, but championship match participants entering the Rumble isn’t unprecedented. Reigns did it last year and Dolph Ziggler did it after facing CM Punk for the WWE Championship in 2012, just to name two examples. A darkhorse candidate to win the Rumble, Strowman could enter last and get rid of several big names before he gets eliminated.

Should Strowman enter 30th and lose, it wouldn’t stymie his monster status. Sure, he wouldn’t look as strong entering late and exiting after several minutes, but he would be protected by the fact that he competed earlier in the show.

Assuming he enters the Rumble, Strowman appearing last makes plenty of sense. He wouldn’t have to be in the match for a long period of time, which is good since Strowman’s character works better in smaller doses.

Of course, WWE could have Strowman come out at 28 or 29 for the same reason. I could also see him entering kinda early and eliminating a bunch of people before a bunch of guys heave him out. Either way, Strowman entering the Rumble late is a safe bet. Number 30 would be a good spot.
