WWE Raw 5 Biggest Stars: Braun Strowman Takes Out The Competition
By Tom Thomas
Who were the biggest stars from the latest edition of WWE Raw? Here are my top five picks from the night.
WWE Raw headed to Memphis this week. The show had its fair share of notable moments but took its time to get to a higher gear. In fact, the first hour was so lackluster that it almost had me wondering whether I would have a list of five top performers from the night. However, towards the end, I was left with six picks over all, who impressed with their performance and the way their career is headed to.
The Balor Club and the Miztourage took the center stage and the spotlight throughout the course of the show. It is nice to see the WWE put some effort into building up the Balor club. It could partly be due to all their Shield plans going down the drain with Dean Ambrose’s untimely injury. Regardless, one week after making their official debut in the WWE, the Balor Club went right for the top faction in the WWE – the Shield.
Their victory against two-thirds of the Shield and Jason Jordan speaks volumes about creative’s trust in this trio. The future looks bright for Balor and the Balor Club. The Miz also would make his return to TV. The Hollywood A-lister wasted little time to make his case for a shot at the IC title, since he never got his rematch. Needless to say, the big money match will take place at Raw‘s 25th anniversary edition.
One of the biggest moments from the night was when Braun Strowman pulled off yet another monster-like stunt, when he flipped a part of the entire set on to Lesnar and Kane. This was quite a spectacle. However, the biggest upset of the night came when Titus Worldwide managed to defeat former tag champions, the Bar. That feat enables them to climb to number five spot for the first time since the inception of this list.
