4. Brock Lesnar

Since Brock Lesnar has suffered a major beatdown, the assumption is that he will suffer no shock defeat at the Royal Rumble and will remain the WWE’s undisputed Universal Champion. Despite his fantastic match against AJ Styles at Survivor Series, Lesnar’s lack of title defenses and sparse appearances on WWE programming have caused his act to wear thin in the eyes of the fans. Everyone wants to see Lesnar lose the Universal Championship, and Roman Reigns isn’t the only person they’d like to see scoring a win over the Beast Incarnate.

That said, Lesnar does a great job of selling beatdowns from his opponents, and he once again suffered a mighty one at the hands of Braun Strowman, who continues to be Lesnar’s worst nightmare. Strowman dazzled the audience by destroying the set backstage and sending it all crashing down on both Lesnar and Kane. And oh by the way, Strowman was the one who beat them up in the first place, showing off his impressive strength even before destroying the entire set.

Lesnar isn’t the most exciting champion due to his lack of title defenses and the fact that some of his matches, specifically his 2017 title defenses against Samoa Joe and Strowman, were lackluster. But Lesnar does try to sell for his opponents, and the championship does feel like a big deal in his hands, especially with Paul Heyman as his mouthpiece.
