2. Roman Reigns

It’s awesome to see how many fans have grown to cheer for Roman Reigns, who has steadily been one of the top performers on Monday Night Raw each and every week. Reigns didn’t defend the Intercontinental Championship this week, but he did shine in a six-man tag match, losing to the Balor Club with teammates Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan by his side.

In the match, Reigns his a sick “Spear” on Luke Gallows outside the ring, and the man’s in-ring work remains one of the best in WWE. He excels in all types of matches and all environments, and there’s no doubt that he’s one of the best in the world in multi-man situations. Since, you know, he’s one of the best in all situations and started on the main roster as a tag team guy with the Shield.

Reigns’s promo work is also a huge bright spot, which is something a lot of people wouldn’t have envisioned saying just a couple of years ago. His disbelief at Jordan’s sense of entitlement was awesome to watch, and he has some of the most underrated facial expressions in the business. The growth Reigns has shown when comparing his work year-to-year is astounding, and he no longer needs to literally be at the center of the show in order to feel like “The Guy”.
