1. Will Samoa Joe’s injury lead to even more change in plans?

Dean Ambrose’s untimely injury had sent creative into panic mode. The grant Shield reunion had to be shelved midway through and creative had to change a lot of plans leading up to WrestleMania. This week, Samoa Joe too apparently injured his foot during his match on Raw. WWE issued a statement on the same and according to it, Joe could miss out on in-ring action for a while.

"“During his match, [Samoa Joe] felt a pop at the bottom of his [right] foot,” explained WWE Senior Ringside Physician Dr. Chris Amann. “We took a look and believe he has a plantar fascia rupture, which is a thick tissue rupture under the foot. We will get an MRI to confirm. Treatment includes a period of immobilization in a boot with crutches and platelet rich plasma injections.”"

We still don’t know how long he is bound to be away from action. But for now, Joe is out of the Mixed Match challenge and Elias has replaced him as Bayley’s partner. Prior to this, Joe had cut a promo on Monday night, stating that he was coming for John Cena at the Rumble. Joe discussed how he wanted to eliminate Cena from the Rumble.

Needless to say, that seemed like a legitimate tease for a dream match the WWE Universe have wanted ever since Joe signed up. Much like Joe Vs Lesnar, Joe Vs Cena is captivating. A WrestleMania showdown between these two men would be a big money match.
