3. Eli Drake Issues a Championship Address
After once again successfully defending his Impact Wrestling Global Championship last week against Alberto El Patron, Eli Drake has a championship address. The crowd was not happy about anything that Drake or Adonis. Drake made fun of the audience and the fact that the show was in Canada. The live crowd wouldn’t allow Drake to say too much before expressing their opinions.
Eli Drake begins to call out Alberto El Patron and feels like he’s defeated everyone there is. As he is about to announce his title defense next week in Detriot, he is interupted by Alberto El Patron. El Patron puts down Drake and claims that the Grand Champion doesn’t have it in him to face El Patron again. Alberto El Patron claims that he will book himself just to get his hands on Eli Drake.
The former champion doesn’t want to wait on next week but Johnny Impact wants to put his name in the hat. Impact says that he will also be in Detroit for this party of some sorts. Johnny Impact doesn’t want to wait til Detroit either as he is attacked by El Patron. Drake joins the frey but Impact would be the last man standing in this fight.
