Impact Wrestling 5 Takeaways: KM Joins American Top Team
By Dj Beal
1. Will Being Affiliated With America Top Team Actually Push KM?
KM has been floating around Impact for a while as the cousin of Sienna. Coming into Impact under the wing of a dominant champion, KM has never really hit his stride. KM was announced as the newest member of America Top Team after helping ATT retire James Storm last week. Even in his opening promo, it feels like KM had more confidence by now knowing his direction seems to be trending.
KM and Bobby Lashley team up against Moose and Eddie Edwards following their confrontation at the beginning of the night. Moose and Edwards take out an already beaten down Johnny Hartnett. This allows Lashley and KM to try to gain control from behind. KM can’t combat the speed of Edwards as he and Moose cut off the ring. Lashley comes in to help his partner giving his team control.

When Lashley gets involved, America Top Team regains control but KM seems to be the weak link at the moment. The high tag team IQ of Eddie Edwards allows Moose to follow up his attack on Lashley as Edwards takes out KM. As it seemed like KM was slowing down ATT, he gains the pinfall for his team with a sitdown lung blower with help from Dan Lambert.
