Sure, it’s fun to think who will be the surprise entrants in WWE’s first ever women’s Royal Rumble. But true prognosticators focus on the final four wrestlers.

As many of you who follow me on Twitter know, I am a master prognosticator. My WWE PPV prediction threads are golden lighthouses of exactitude and scrupulousness in a salty sea of shipwrecked soothsaying.

Thus, I come to you today to provide some foresight to the final four women who will be left standing in the women’s Royal Rumble match.

At the time of writing, Charlotte and Alexa Bliss are still their respective brand’s champions, so they’re not in the match.

Asuka

Okay, let’s get the obvious out of the way: Asuka will be in the final four. She’ll even be in the final two. But as much as I’m a blithering mess of an Asuka mark, I don’t think she will be winning the Royal Rumble.

In fact, I believe that her place at Wrestlemania challenging for the WWE title is secure. She is going to win the WWE title on the Road to WrestleMania and have her first big defense there (maybe against a healthy Paige).

Her elimination will help advance her storyline with Alexa Bliss. Alexa will cause Asuka to be eliminated, which fits in the current storyline where she is afraid to face the Empress of Tomorrow. By proxy via Nia Jax, who will have been eliminated just short of the final four (probably with everyone ganging up on her, as we’ve seen before), the duo will distract or force Asuka into elimination. This will lead to match vs. Bliss at Elimination Chamber and… well… I guess this is for another article.
