WWE Royal Rumble 2018: Predicting All 30 Entrants Of The Women’s Royal Rumble Match
By Dalton Quix
8. Trish Stratus
As I’ve said many times in this article (but not nearly as many times as the WWE), the Women’s Revolution/Evolution is a focal point of this match. So, it will probably be littered from legends of the past that help this division grow into what it is today.
One of those names is Trish Stratus. She is arguably the most recognizable former WWE Diva, and she was able to break down so many walls throughout her tenure with WWE. So, look for her to get a spotlight shone on her as she appears in the Women’s Royal Rumble.
7. Beth Phoenix
Beth Phoenix seems like the most likely former Diva to enter this match. She is still only 37 years old, so age is not a factor, and she is still in business with WWE, as she was just announced as a commentator for the Mixed Match Challenge.
Also, she was just inducted into the Hall of Fame, so WWE would definitely want to take advantage of her status as a HoF’er and show off her dominance in the Royal Rumble. After all, this won’t be her first Royal Rumble match.
6. Lita
Time and time again, Lita is mentioned by WWE as one of the pioneers that paved the path for the Women’s Revolution. Her daredevil stunts and incredible matches launched women’s wrestling to a new stratosphere.
Lita is also still heavily involved in WWE. She takes to the pre show panel for PPVs, and she was a commentator for the Mae Young Classic, so why not throw a legend into a historic event that she helped make possible?
4&5. The Bella Twins
While the Bella Twins aren’t the legends that these other women are (though the list of legends for the 25th anniversary of Raw would beg to differ), their return would still generate a huge pop and a lot of interest.
It is no secret that both Bella Twins are trying to comeback and wrestle in 2018. They have mentioned it several times on Total Divas, and Nikki is working with an injury while Brie is trying to come back from her pregnancy.
Both Bellas are set to appear at the 25th anniversary of Raw, and I expect both of them to appear in the Royal Rumble, too.
