5. Mojo Rawley

Finally, the Hype Bros imploded and both Zack Ryder and Mojo are on their own. This may not be the first time Mojo is on his own, but it’s the first time he is on his own as a heel.

The first time around Mojo became a singles competitor due to his fellow Hype Bro getting injured. He went on to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal with the help of his friend Rob Gronkowski (Patriots star tight end), but his character sort of fell flat.

His hyped personality got annoying fast and was hard to get behind, his limited move set didn’t allow for much excitement in the ring, and his promos came off as cheesy and cringeworthy at best. But, that all changed when he turned on Ryder.

Mojo has become unhinged as an intense heel with something to prove. Despite limited TV time, Mojo has taken advantage of social media and has been cutting some vicious promos on there like these:

WWE higher ups have always been high on Rawley due to his size, look, and explosiveness, and now that he has the promo work and character down, he can finally get that push they have been waiting to give him. Also, as a heel, he gets to hide how green he is in the ring while still being an effective heel.

So, don’t be surprised if by the end of 2018, Mojo Rawley has had a run with the United States Championship and possibly the Money in the Bank briefcase.
