1) The WWE is in Desperate Need of New Stars

If there is one thing that WWE Raw 25 showed us, it’s that WWE needs to create new stars. The biggest star on the show Monday was easily Steve Austin, who looked so much more over than every other person on the show. While it’s a bit unfair to compare anyone to Steve Austin, who is arguably the biggest star of all time, it still highlights the problems in WWE.

Simply put, WWE does not have one standout major star outside of John Cena and Brock Lesnar. While WWE is trying to do so with Roman Reigns, and he is a legitimate draw, he’s not even close to being in the league of Cena or Lesnar. The rest of Raw furthered the point – only the legends were truly over, and they were positioned as the true stars at the expense of the current ones.

One of the easiest ways to make a new star is have someone take the championship from Brock Lesnar. If Braun Strowman wins the match, he will be instantly elevated to the status of a huge star. While it’s possible to mess this up, even after winning this match, Braun’s stock will still be elevated. He would be in the position to be a main eventer for years to come, provided they continue to push him well.
