2) A Champion Will be on TV Every Week

While I don’t completely agree with the argument that the champion needs to be on TV every week, there is a somewhat valid point to it. Having the champion on TV every week makes it easier to plan for the big events, and provides a visible indication of who the top star is. The counter argument is simple – The champion not being on TV every week makes the champion special. I agree with this sentiment. However, Braun as champion every week leading into WrestleMania could be very interesting, as he completely destroys people leading into the biggest show of the year.

The angles that could be done with Braun as champion would be very fresh, and could potentially provide some interesting narrative throughout all of Raw. It’s clear that there is something special with his character. While he is not the best in ring worker, when you combine him with a match that has tons of destruction, it’s always fun.

Braun is a great character, and having him positioned as the number one guy on Raw would be refreshing and interesting. That is something that Raw desperately needs, as the show has been struggling for months now. It has had several episodes that are hit or miss, with a lack of consistent storytelling. Maybe Braun is the creative shot they need to get the lifeblood of the show going again.

But what about Brock staying strong? Is it good to have him lose at a show that isn’t WrestleMania?
