#4. Dolph Ziggler is here to fool the world, here to fool the world

The currently missing former United States Champion is a lot of people’s picks to win the entire Royal Rumble match. Whilst I don’t necessary think he’ll be winning the match, I think he’ll have a huge part to play in making the match as entertaining as possible and getting himself over as a heel.

Now, before Dolph Ziggler won the United States title at Clash of Champions and then abandoned it in the middle of the ring, he was feuding with the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode using the fact that some Superstars were just ‘their entrance’ and not good enough in the ring.

During this time Ziggler would come out every week, mimicking the entrances of some popular past and present WWE Superstars whilst he himself would enter the ring in silence with no fanfare at all.

So what if, during the Royal Rumble, Daniel Bryan’s theme and entrance video hits. The crowd goes wild because they all think that Bryan is returning to the Rumble match, only for that scratching noise to happen and then Dolph Ziggler walks out in complete silence with a big grin on his face.

Alternatively it seems likely that if Bobby Roode ends up in the Royal Rumble match that Dolph Ziggler will return to eliminate him and remind the ‘Glorious’ Bobby Roode that he never actually lost the United States Title and wants it back.

Either way, Ziggler’s actions at the Royal Rumble (if he even shows up at all) are likely to be the actions of a mega-heel and that’s exactly how it should be!
