4. Killian Dain
If we take a look back at WrestleMania 33, we can actually find Killian Dain on the pre show as a member of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The Beast of Belfast had a great showing in the match before ultimately getting eliminated near the finish.
WWE higher ups obviously have their eye on this big man, and for good reason. Dain is athletic, impressive in the ring, charismatic, and has the perfect look for a dominant big man. So, while he is just a member of Eric Young’s SAnitY, WWE is probably pushing for the big man to get as much exposure as possible.
Since, at this moment, SAnitY doesn’t have a match at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia, there will have to be another way to get Dain on everyone’s screens for the big weekend. Sure, he could run in during the NXT Tag Team Championship match, but what fun is that?
Why not throw Killian Dain in another battle royal. He can dominate and take on the big man role that will be lacking this year since Strowman, Lesnar, and Kane all probably won’t be in the Royal Rumble match since they will be competing earlier in the night.
So, let the big man rumble. It doesn’t even have to be a permanent call up for Dain, either. Let him wreak havoc on the main roster during the Rumble, and then he can rejoin SAnitY to continue wreaking havoc on the rest of NXT.
