2. Aleister Black
Upon arrival, Aleister Black has made a grand impact in NXT. His daunting presence and scary strikes create special moments and great matches any time he is in the ring. His character and aura have been built up well in NXT, and it may be time to bring him to the main roster.
Yes, I know, he hasn’t won the NXT Championship yet, but does he really need to? Plenty of Superstars have made the journey to the main roster without obtaining developmental gold and have achieved (somewhat) great success.
Aleister Black has all of the assets: In ring skills, charisma, mic skills, and now the recognition necessary to be a star on either Raw or SmackDown Live. So, Black’s Extreme Rules Match against Adam Cole (BAYBAY!) just may be his lat on NXT soil.
I predict that match will see some interference from the Undisputed Era, which will allow Cole to get the win and move up to NXT Championship contention, and Aleister Black can lose on his way out of NXT looking strong.
Then, the whole world will feel his dark presence at the Royal Rumble. He can kick the souls out of everyone in the ring and put up a good showing in the match before being eliminated. It would be great to watch, and Black would be a welcomed addition to either roster.
