Damien Mizdow

Damien Sandow has a place in the hearts of a large part of the WWE Universe. From his intellectual savior character, to Team Rhodes Scholars, to his inexplicable Money in the Bank victory, to the failed cash-in, to acting as The Miz’s stunt double, Sandow became one of the most popular superstars in WWE.

But after his partnership with The Miz ended – a partnership that resulted in a Tag Team Championship victory – Sandow was nothing more than an afterthought. A lengthy absence from television led to his eventual release from WWE in 2016. A run in Impact as Aron Rex ended in April 2017 as he took a break from wrestling to pursue acting.

Now, some months later, wouldn’t it be great for Sandow to return home, so to speak? I’m sure the Philly fans would lose their minds if Sandow came down to the ring. In fact, the only thing that would top an appearance by Damien Sandow in the Royal Rumble would be an appearance by Damien Mizdow in the Royal Rumble.

Let’s say The Miz enters the Rumble at like number 13. Number 14? Damien Mizdow. The next two minutes is just the same old stunt double schtick from their initial run – Miz doing a move to an opponent, Mizdow doing the same to absolutely no one. When Miz gets eliminated, Mizdow eliminates himself because he gets too into the character. Then we never see him again, and he becomes a classically trained, award winning actor.

Wow, Damien Mizdow an actor. He really did do everything The Miz did, huh?
