Ronda Rousey goes back on her word and shows up

This wouldn’t be Rousey’s first rodeo on WWE.

During a typical Authority gloat session at WrestleMania 31, The Rock made an appearance to stop Triple H from further stroking his ego. After a heated exchange, Stephanie McMahon insulted and slapped The Rock, while taunting him that he couldn’t retaliate because he wouldn’t hit a woman.

Cue Ronda Rousey. Rousey, sitting in the front row, entered stage left and reminded everyone why she “owns every ring she’s in” by throwing Triple H and Stephanie McMahon from the ring, after teasing a brutal armbar on Stephanie.

WWE doesn’t normally just drop feud story lines with part-time talent or stars from other realms of sports. So naturally, the rumors of Rousey entering the Rumble started to trickle down before becoming a heavy stream. While almost no one wants an outsider to win this historical match, it would certainly be entertaining.

She debunked the rumor by telling TMZ that she will be in Colombia for a movie shoot, and won’t even be in the country at the time the match will take place. Rousey has also been suddenly active on social media, which has made many suspicious that this is just a ruse to get people to think that she won’t be at the Rumble.

Besides, I’m sure there’s an available flight back just in time.
