The Four Side Ring is Back!

Impact Wrestling switched back to the traditional four sided ring.  This is their way of differentiating themselves from the original TNA.  We have seen some amazing matches in a four sided ring in the past in Impact so this will be no different.

The first time the ring changed as a fan I was frustrated.  It felt like TNA was taking away from what made the company special.  This was when Impact Wrestling was just starting to peak in the ratings with stars like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.  It still felt like it was out of place in a company that was known for a six sided ring among other aspects.

This time I am actually excited for the change.  Simply because the ring had changed, I felt a bit more excitement coming into this show.  One of my favorite matches for Impact in the four sided ring was Sanada versus Austin Aries for the X-Division Championship.  Also, if Impact is going fully away from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling then this is almost a necessary change.  It should draw some of the more traditionalists back into Impact Wrestling too as they almost go back to their roots.
