WWE WrestleMania 34: Fantasy Booking Daniel Bryan’s In Ring Return

Will Daniel Bryan be cleared to wrestle at WWE WrestleMania 34? If so, who will his match be against?

Well, the sad reality is that Daniel Bryan probably (we can still have hope) won’t wrestle in a WWE ring again. Of course, we, the fans, and Bryan, the man, want to see him in the ring again because he is just such a great wrestler, and he loves I️t so much.

So, naturally, rumors have been swirling ever since his in ring retirement about a comeback because some doctors have cleared him to wrestle and some haven’t, and Bryan himself has been very vocal about wanting to wrestle again.

And the feverish fans are only clamoring for a his return even more as it seems his storyline could progress into a match. At first, he was a special guest referee for a match where things almost got physical for the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Now, his feud has continued with Shane McMahon as Bryan is, in Shane’s eyes, aligning himself with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Shane’s reasoning for this was that Daniel Bryan is living vicariously through them because he can’t wrestle anymore, which only teases a return to the ring even more.

So, IF they were to clear Bryan for a match at WrestleMania 34, I say they go for a home run rather than the obvious match against Shane McMahon.

See, instead of their feud building to a match, it should actually lead to Shane FIRING Bryan for going behind his back and being insubordinate. That would lead us to believe WWE is just writing him off TV until his contract expires and leaves the company, but meanwhile…

On Raw, The Miz is furious that he lost the Elimination Chamber match, but he claims it doesn’t matter because he’s already holding the most prestigious title in WWE and dares anyone to take it from him.

Angle, taking Miz’s words at face value, makes him defend his championship that very Monday. So, out comes Seth Rollins for a title shot, but Miz wins in a cowardly way through interference or count out or some other kinds of shenanigans.

Then, the same thing happens next week, and Kurt Angle forces him to defend his title against Finn Bálor, and Miz comes out victorious through shady means once again (yes, i know Miz beating Finn on Raw is not ideal).

After those two big wins, Miz is feeling cockier than ever. He claims he is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, so he deserves a great WrestleMania opponent, but he says he’s already beaten his potential opponents and the best competition that there is on Raw.

So, he asks who Kurt Angle has in store for an opponent. Fans wait anxiously and anticipate a possible Braun Strowman appearance or Jason Jordan return from injury, but nope. Daniel Bryan’s music hits, and The Miz’s face goes completely white like he just saw a ghost.

Bryan and The Miz then get to rehash the hottest feud of 2016 going into 2017, but this time they get to finally have a payoff on the grandest stage of them all. The Miz will fight to prove he belongs atop the list of all time great Intercontinental Champions, while Bryan looks to regain the title he never lost and promised the WWE Universe he would recapture.

Now, THAT is a feud worth coming out of retirement for. Sadly, this will all just probably be fantasy.
