1. Unorthodox Finish Adds Two Deserved Additions To Elimination Chamber Match

Heading into last night’s Raw, five of the entrants in the Elimination Chamber match were already confirmed.  But last night would solve the issue of the final member of the match by adding not just one, but two members.

A Second Chance Fatal 4-Way between Finn Balor, Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt, and Apollo Crews was set to take place with the winner becoming the sixth and “final” member of the Elimination Chamber match.  But the match would get a last-minute makeover with the inclusion of Seth Rollins.

The match then developed into a Fatal 5-Way with high stakes, and what a match it was.  Every individual got some impressive moments and the match was very stellar from start to nearly the finish.  But as the finish took place, that’s when everything changed and the confusion began to ratchet up.

Both Rollins and Balor pinned Wyatt simultaneously.  This finish led to many believing it would just lead to a Rollins vs. Balor match next week to help solve the issue.  But instead, WWE announced after Raw went off the air that GM Kurt Angle added both Rollins and Balor to the Elimination Chamber, which allows both deserving superstars a spot in the match.

It will be a bit odd seeing seven superstars in the Elimination Chamber match, but if it means including both The Architect and The Demon King, it’s a welcomed change.
