2. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

Two superstars vied for the chance to become the first-ever Universal Champion at SummerSlam 2016.  Seth Rollins’ battle with Finn Balor at the biggest party of the summer in 2016 was a match that saw the ultimate high for Balor, but a big low as well.

Balor was forced to relinquish his Universal Championship after getting injured in his match with Rollins at SummerSlam 2016.  And since that time, both Balor and Rollins have struggled to get back in the world title picture on Monday nights.  Recent history could suggest a future encounter for these two on the grandest stage of them all.

On the most recent edition of Raw, both Rollins and Balor got a simultaneous pin to win a match that would determine the final member of the Elimination Chamber match.  While both were ultimately included in the match, this could potentially be a starting point for a potential WrestleMania 34 match.

If the WWE decides to pit Rollins and Balor against each other, there’s plenty more the company could do to build it up.  Of course, the history between the two dating back to SummerSlam 2016 could be in play.  Along with that, the two could have an encounter inside the Elimination Chamber match that could further set up the match and maybe one could even turn heel if need be.

Rollins and Balor are two superstars in need of a WrestleMania 34 direction, so having them square off against each other could be a great option.
