#2. There is no-one more popular than Braun at the moment
Everything Braun Strowman has done since Tables, Ladders and Chairs has been gold. Whether it’s teaming with Alexa Bliss in the Mixed Match Challenge, decimating entire security teams and killing Michael Cole because he was fired, or appearing with a massive Cello to confront Elias, Strowman has received stupendous reactions.
Let’s not forget this all started when Strowman turned face at Tables, Ladders and Chairs when Kane, Miz and company literally tried to murder him by crushing him in a rubbish compactor. Since then Strowman has lifted almost everything there is to lift, used a grappling hook to bring down the RAW set and made the slogan ‘Get these hands’ cool.
Because of all of this, Braun Strowman is arguably the most popular babyface wrestler Monday Night RAW has. So why on earth wouldn’t the WWE strap a rocket to him, pull the trigger, and put the Universal Title on their hottest commodity?
Seriously, he has an incredible range, successfully pulling off comedy sketches with Alexa during the Mixed Match Challenge. But he’s also incredibly stern and serious at times when he needs to be as well. Strowman can carry RAW as it’s big-man and champion, especially if Lesnar does leave after WrestleMania.
