Asuka’s match against Nia Jax at the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 is one of the more intriguing bouts at the pay-per-view, But, I feel that there’s only one result that makes sense.

If Nia Jax manages to beat Asuka she will be added to the RAW Women’s title match at WrestleMania, which is likely to still be Alexa Bliss, although anything can happen in the chamber. Interestingly, however, Asuka also hasn’t actually announced who she’ll be challenging at WrestleMania as the first ever Royal Rumble winner.

My personal feelings are that Asuka should definitely beat Nia Jax at WWE Elimination Chamber 2018, and I’m going to give you three reasons why that’s exactly what should happen when the Pay-Per-View comes around.

#3. – A loss would devalue the winner of the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble

There’s only been one women’s Royal Rumble in history, and there’s only currently one female Royal Rumble winner, and that’s Asuka. This was a huge moment for Asuka, and for the WWE as a whole.

The first ever winner of the Royal Rumble should be a huge, huge deal for the company because they’re never going to get another chance at having a first-time ever winner for the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

With that in mind, Asuka is a fantastic choice to win the match because of her popularity and her unprecedented and monumental undefeated streak across both NXT and the main roster. This all made her the obvious choice to be crowned the first ever Rumble winner.

But, to then put Asuka in a match against Nia Jax for the first time in Asuka’s first high profile match after winning the Royal Rumble and to have her lose in a low-key, fairly underdeveloped match against Jax, with little build-up and no real feud between the two would surely undermine the achievement.

I’m not saying that Asuka should never lose just because she’s won the Royal Rumble, but I truly believe that she definitely shouldn’t lose so soon after the big history making moment.
