Where in WWE Will Johnny Gargano End Up And Will Tommaso Ciampa Follow?

On this week’s episode of WWE NXT, Johnny Gargano lost his match to Andrade Cien Almas – with the help of Tommaso Ciampa. The stipulation for the match was if Gargano lost he will leave NXT. So where does this leave Johnny Wrestling within WWE?

It was a heartbreaking scene as Johnny Gargano sat in the middle of the WWE NXT ring, with his wife Candice LeRae, trying to comprehend what had just happened.

Storyline aside, let’s talk about where Gargano is heading. When situations like this happen in NXT, it’s right before a competitor gets called up to the main roster. Your guess is as good as mine to how he will make his appearance, but I strongly feel Gargano will be on RAW or SmackDown Live after WrestleMania.

Currently WWE Is using the Johnny-is-down-on-his-luck-because-he-just-got-fired angle. This could change at anytime when it comes to WWE.

I am going to throw a few matches or feuds on both brands that I would like to see Gargano in. Lets start with the Raw Brand. Right now Seth Rollins is playing the main baby face. I feel like this could be a role Gargano would excel at on either roster. On Raw I would love to see a respectful series of matches between Gargano and Rollins. Both competitors would remain face and it would showcase Gargano’s natural ability to the main WWE crowd.

I say this because of Rollins and Gargano’s matches they had on the independent circuit before entering NXT.

When I think about the current SmackDown Live roster, a few possible opponents come to mind. I think a series of matches between Styles and Gargano in a WWE ring would be fantastic. To my knowledge the two have never competed. No matter where Gargano lands, he is sure to have amazing matches like he has throughout his career.

So the million dollar question is, where does this leave the feud with Ciampa? I have racked my brain and thought of two possible answers to this question. The first is Gargano tricking or goading Ciampa into one last NXT match at TakeOver: New Orleans. This would possibly be an unsanctioned match due to Gargano not being on the roster, and this would make the match No DQ. The second – and I feel more likely – route is WWE may just let this play out on the main roster. This would be similar to The Zayn/Owens feud a few years back. A feud with a build up like this could be a draw on the main roster.

Right now all of this is up in the air and it hasn’t been revealed quite yet what path WWE will take with this feud or which brand will b  Gargano’s new home. I can tell you one thing: when Ciampa and Gargano finally have a match after Ciampa’s turn, it will be on a whole other level of enjoyment for fans
