Bayley and Mandy Rose start the match

Essentially, the first two competitors could be anyone. Even if chosen to start the match, if the superstar has durability and endurance, they could make their way to the end. Bayley has that ability.

In October of 2015, Bayley fought against Sasha Banks in what is still held as one of the best women’s matches in WWE history. At NXT TakeOver: Respect, Bayley and Banks competed in the first-ever women’s 30-minute Iron Man Match; the longest match to be fought by women to that date.

So, it would make sense to let someone like Bayley start the match, since she can certainly hold her own, and for a long period of time.

While Mandy Rose is making waves as a member of Paige’s stable “Absolution”, she’s still fairly new and just starting to get her feet wet. It’s not likely that Mandy Rose will last the entire match, and that’s the point of putting her in first with Bayley, to let Bayley shine.

WWE has been building the tension between Bayley and Banks to a high level, with Banks developing her old heel habits. Mandy Rose might not eliminate Bayley, but she’ll help wear her down for the upcoming slaughter that Banks has in store for her old friend.

First, though, the champ should remind everyone why they’re here.
