ROH Wrestling Recap: Episode 336, Feb. 23, 2018
In the words of Cody, “The Bullet Club is fine.” However, this week’s episode of Ring of Honor TV showed continued the story that it might not be as fine as Cody thinks it is. ROH also delivered a fantastic main event match between Silas Young and Kenny King for the ROH Television Championship.
The show opens with Bully Ray announcing that he is the new Enforcer for Ring of Honor, giving him a sort of authority figure role. He cuts a promo about the company, and how he’s proud to work for it, and gets the crowd to chant ROH. Solid little opening, and Bully is always a good promo.
So Cal Uncensored (Scoripo Sky & Frankie Kazarian) vs. The Young Bucks
In the words of Cody, “The Bullet Club is fine.” However, is everything as fine as Cody thinks? This week’s ROH TV left us with some more questions concerning that, and delivered a fantastic main event with Silas Young and Kenny King fighting over the ROH Television title.
So Cal Uncensored refuses to abide by the Code of Honor, so the Bucks take it to them quickly, and make the pay with their fast paced offense. After sending Kazarian and Sky to the outside, Cody makes an appearance to a big pop, confusing the Bucks. He joins the commentary booth.

As they come back from the break, Cody is all smiles. Cody insists that the Bullet Club is fine. If Honor Rising in Japan showed us anything, it’s that the Bullet Club is fine, but only in the mind of Cody. The Bucks continue their fast paced offense, but Kazarian hits a DDT by springing over the top rope, and driving Nick Jackson’s head into the mat. Crazy spot.
Cody draws attention to the fact that the Bucks are putting on muscle, heavily implying that they are going to move to heavyweight as Nick and Matt take it to So Cal Uncensored. Matt Jackson hits a great flip dive off the stage, over the guardrail, onto Sky. Ian draws attention to Matt’s injured back that he’s been selling for awhile, and Cody says that Matt’s back is fine. Cody, you keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
The Bucks start their superkick party and hit a Meltzer Driver not long after for the pinfall. Good tag match to open the show. Nice job ROH.
Rating: 3 stars out of 5
After the match, Christopher Daniels runs down and takes out The Young Bucks. Cody is very hesitant to save the Bucks, slowly taking his time to get to the ring as Daniels beats on the Bucks. Hangman Page makes the save, and Cody finally enters the ring. Interesting. It seems that Cody isn’t all that interested in saving his stablemates.
