WWE Elimination Chamber is in the books and supplied us with a decent show that sets up a lot of things for WrestleMania. While there are many strong points to the show, there were a few moments that stood out as negative, and in the interest of fairness, they should be discussed.

1) The Usage Of Gallows & Anderson

The perplexing usage of Gallows & Anderson on the preshow was further highlighted by who they were facing. While there is a certain logic to it because Finn is feuding with the Miz currently, this match was still not the best usage of the Balor Club. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel draw little to no reaction apart from what they are doing with the Miz, and so this match had little heat. It did nothing to help Gallows & Anderson, as they beat guys who mean nothing, while Bo and Curtis remained at their low level.

In the end, that match accomplished very little, if anything. At it’s best it did nothing, and at it’s worst it stalled some of the momentum Gallows & Anderson have. As for a better option, that leads me to talk about the next mistake on the card.

2) Titus Worldwide on the Main Card

The Bar has been on a good run lately, easily being the top tag team on Raw. They can produce good tag matches easily and always give the fans something worth watching. So why have them against Titus Worldwide, who also have little momentum like The Miztourage. While this match had its entertaining moments, it was largely a momentum killer for the show, and lowered the quality of the show overall.

While The Balor Club and The Bar were struggling with two lower tier teams, I couldn’t help but wonder how much better it would have been for both to wrestle each other. The story could be very simple: The Balor Club, as a whole, are making a run to dominate the titles on Raw. Balor is challenging for a chance at the Universal championship at WrestleMania, and Gallows & Anderson are looking to take over the tag division. Meanwhile, The Bar are simply trying to fend off a top challenger. The story is simple, make sense, and would deliver a nice midcard match with good heat. Instead, we had two okay tags with very little heat.
