ROH Wrestling presented Manhattan Mayhem VII live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. ROH always likes to deliver a good show when they are in New York. This one did not disappoint. Read on for the results and grades of the matches.

Due to some weather issues, the card for the show changed slightly. ROH, however, was not deterred and still put on a great show. The action was non-stop, and the matches were fun, which is all you can ask for in a wrestling show.

The Dawgs (Rhett Titus & Will Ferrara) vs. Coast 2 Coast (LSG & Shaheem Ali) vs. The Briscoes (Jay & Mark Briscoe)

This is a really fast paced match to open the show and help them build heat for the crowd early. Titus and Ferrara having some amusing spots where they can’t get along, but without implying they’re going to break up. After some fast-paced spots, the right team got the win. Jay Briscoe hit a Jay Driller on Ferrara for the 1-2-3.

Result: The Briscoes

Rating: 2.75 stars out of 5

Sumie Sakai & Jenny Rose vs. Tenille Dashwood & Deonna Purrazzo

This was a very decent length tag match that let all the women shine. The crowd wasn’t too into it at the start, but the cheers grew louder as the match headed towards the finish. All four women are good workers and delivered the goods here in a perfectly fine tag match. After missing a moonsault, Tenille hit The Spotlight and got the pinfall. Sumie Sakai was initially reluctant to shake hands after the match, but ultimately adhered to the Code of Honor and hugged Tenille. Sumie is great. She sold disappointment at her loss so well here that the crowd felt sorry for her. Great stuff.

Result: Tenille Dashwood & Deonna Purrazzo

Rating: 2.5 stars out of 5.

Really solid tag match. The Women of Honor are likely going to be increasingly highlighted with Tenille being there. I fully expect them to start building the division around her, which is fantastic. She’s a great worker, and now she is in a place where they are going to let her show it.
