Intercontinental Championship: The Miz (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor

Let’s flash back to the May 1st episode of Raw  from 2017. With The Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, absent from the show, the Intercontinental Championship took the spotlight. Three challengers, The Miz, Seth Rollins, and Finn Bálor all put on an incredible performance in the main event to establish the number one contender for the strap.

Now fast forward to WrestleMania 34, and it looks like we may be getting that same match, but it will be for the right to hoist the Intercontinental Championship as their own this time. If their last match was any indication, this triple threat has the potential to steal the show at WrestleMania.

The Miz has been so vital to Raw as Intercontinental Champion lately and he looks to continue his tremendous run, while the leader of Bálor Club hunts for gold, and Rollins eyes a potential Grand Slam Champion benchmark. It should definitely be interesting to see how this feud and match plays out.

US Championship: Bobby Roode (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin vs. Rusev

It seems as though a multiman ladder match has been a staple for WrestleMania. First, there was the Money in the Bank Ladder match, and after that got moved to its own PPV, midcard titles have been defended via this stipulation at WrestleMania.

So, this year, the ladder match should belong to the United States Championship. Randy Orton is facing Bobby Roode at Fastlane for the title, but a jealous and meddlesome Jinder will likely cause the finish of that match to be anything but clean and will continue the feud between those three.

Then, we have Dolph Ziggler, who is great at matches and has a claim to the title since he never technically lost it, Baron Corbin, another Superstar with a claim to the title since he never got his rematch, and everyone’s favorite Bulgarian: Rusev from Rusev Day!

It just makes sense for everyone in this match to battle over the United States Championship, and while Rusev doesn’t have a feud with any of these Superstars nor does he have a claim to the title, he is the most over Superstar on SmackDown and should be awarded a title shot for his efforts.
