Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon
Triple H only wrestling at WWE’s biggest PPV’s, especially WrestleMania, has basically become a tradition at this point, so you know he will be getting involved at WrestleMania 34. What’s even better (possibly sarcasm) than that? He gets to wrestle alongside his wife and revive The Authority!
WWE’s biggest signee in recent history, Ronda Rousey, and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle look to be their opponents. At Elimination Chamber, the feud began (even though it was sparked by Rousey beating up Steph and HHH at WrestleMania 31).
Ronda signed her contract, but because Kurt spilled the beans about how The Authority wanted revenge against her, the segment ended with Ronda putting Triple H through a table and getting slapped by Steph. Then, Kurt got a sucker punch from Hunter the next night on Raw.
So, things are lining up for a mixed tag match at WrestleMania 34, which is great for Ronda Rousey as she is still incredibly green and will be sharing the ring with some of the industry’s greats. This should be a great draw, but we will have o wait and see about the match quality.
SD Tag Titles: The Usos (c) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
The Usos have never been on the main card of WrestleMania, which, looking at their past year’s work, is a travesty. They have carried SmackDown Live in 2017 and have stolen the show at countless PPVs, especially with The New Day.
Now, the duo have the chance to do the same in another match at Fastlane, but with The Bludgeon Brothers looming around the corner, I doubt either team will have time to rest after the match. The Bludgeon Brothers have looked vicious and are posed for a title shot just in time for WrestleMania 34.
However, The Usos and The New Day have been on the top of their game, and there’s no way WrestleMania is going to miss out on showcasing WWE’s two best tag teams. So, we could make this match a triple threat OR even a fatal four way.
If Sami and Kevin lose at Fastlane, they will have no direction heading into WrestleMania unless they decided to break up and feud with each other. Instead, they should be added to the tag team title mix and show why they are best friends, and they can turn WrestleMania 34 into the Sami and Kevin Show.
