WWE Championship: AJ Styles (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Some of the WWE Universe likes to claim that WWE ( well, Vince) never listens to its fans. Well, having the opportunity to witness AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship at WRESTLEMANIA kind of puts that argument to rest.

Both AJ and Shinsuke left Japan for WWE at around the same time, and ever since then, thew world has been clamoring for a Wrestle Kingdom rematch between the two, but obviously, at WrestleMania instead.

WWE started by teasing the match when the two had a face off in the middle of their Money in the Bank match, and the crowd erupted. Then, at a Live event, they teased the WrestleMania match with another successful crowd reaction. So, WWE finally pulled the trigger and had Shinsuke win the Royal Rumble. Now, let’s just hope AJ Styles can hold the title until ‘Mania.

WWE Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns

Remember when I said fans sometimes feel WWE doesn’t listen to them? Well, this match definitely supports this case. It was rumored that Lesnar would square off against Roman at WrestleMania 34 for the belt for over a year, and that’s exactly what we’re getting.

Even though fans wanted to see Samoa Joe, Finn Bálor, and naturally, Braun Strowman take down The Beast, WWE stuck to their guns. Now Roman has the opportunity to dethrone Lesnar at WrestleMania while Strowman, WWE’s most popular Superstar, looks to be stuck in a multi man match at best.

However, there is definitely a story to be told here. Roman and Brock’s WrestleMania 31 main event was disrupted by Rollins, so we never got to see who would win, and Roman and Brock are the only two to ever beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania.
