1. AJ Styles vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin

The original WWE Championship match at Fastlane would come to light in the main event of last night’s SmackDown.  Before the addition of John Cena, AJ Styles was set to defend his title against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, and Baron Corbin in a Fatal 5-Way at Fastlane.

But in last night’s main event, that match would pan out after confusion to end Styles and Ziggler’s match prior to it.  After Owens and Zayn attacked both Styles and Ziggler to end their one-on-one encounter, commissioner Shane McMahon made a Fatal 5-Way match to take place immediately with every participant in the match at Fastlane besides the absent Cena.

If this match is any indicator of what to expect at Fastlane, the WWE universe will be in for an outstanding WWE Championship match.  The action was very good from start to finish with a lot of up-tempo work and a few impressive spots as well.  But the ending caught most everybody by surprise when Zayn decided to make a big statement at the expense of his best friend KO.

Zayn hit Owens with a helluva kick and pinned him to win the match.  Zayn initially said he would lay down for Owens and Fastlane, but this proved what his intentions are and those intentions include winning the WWE Championship.  These five put on a very good match that definitely raises interest in the match at Fastlane.
