5. Will the Authors of Pain make their debut ahead of WrestleMania 34?
I believed the Bar and the Revival were on a collision course. I was right. It happened this week on Raw. However, I had hoped this would take place at WrestleMania and would finally be the big moment for Dash and Dawson. However, it seems like the duo will have to wait. Despite putting on a strong performance, the Revival lost clean to the Bar and as such lost their opportunity to face the tag champions at WrestleMania 34.
Sheamus and Cesaro are at the top of the division. They have defeated every team thrown at them and have been reigning supreme without much trouble. Over the past couple of weeks, the duo have been calling out the locker rooms demanding competition. Their braggadocios promos aimed at all the tag teams they have defeated seems to aim at something else though. That something else goes by the name The Authors of Pain.
Akam and Razor have done all that they could in NXT. Moreover, with the rise of Sanity and the Undisputed Era as well as the return of TM61, AOP really doesn’t need to stay at NXT any longer. WWE typically calls up developmental talent to the main roster after WrestleMania. But the Authors of Pain could get a different treatment. Much like Braun Strowman, these two men have come a long way since their initial days and could be in line for a major match at this year’s WrestleMania.
The question is, will their WrestleMania moment come along with it?
