Cross Roads Starts With the Tag Team Titles on the Line

To start the show, the Tag Team Championships are on the line as the Latin American Xchange battled the Cult of Lee.  Caleb Konley and Trevor Lee have been in the heads of LAX since they won the championships and made a truce with Ohio Versus Everything.  LAX jumps on the Cult of Lee immediately at the beginning of this match.

The fight goes outside early in this one given LAX’s malicious background.  It all breaks down in the early goings of this championship match.  Lee and Konley have beaten LAX before and seem like they may have the number of the champions.  Ortiz and Santana of LAX use their tandem style offense to keep control of the Cult of Lee.  Lee and Konley have chemistry too as they show their teamwork to fight back into this match.

The pace begins to quicken and the advantage switches back to LAX.  It’s definitely was a back and forth match between two teams who know each other very well.  Any time the numbers get in LAX’s favor, the Cult of Lee is in trouble as LAX uses the traditional isolation strategy.  With every huge tandem move, it seemed like the match could go any way.  It was the Street Sweeper of LAX that allowed them to retain the Impact Tag Team Championships.  This was a great way to start this show with a fast paced championship match to draw people in.
