CHAOS (Toru Yano, Tomohiro Ishii, & Hirooki Goto) vs. Suzuki-gun (Kanemaru, Davey Boy Smith Jr., & Lance Archer)
Lance Archer literally ran all over the place into the crowd so he could spit water on people. Well then, Lance. Yano starts the match and was absolutely terrified of Davey Boy Smith Jr., which is absolutely hilarious. Suzuki-gun took advantage of poor Yano for a few minutes, until Ishii was tagged in. Ishii goes head to head with Archer, which highlights the true size difference between the two. Ishii, because he’s Ishii, managed to hit a massive brain buster on Archer!

Ishii made the hot tag to Goto, who looked to suplex Davey, but Davey was too powerful and suplexed Goto instead. This didn’t stop Goto from hitting a series of lariats though. Somehow, KES and Kanemaru managed to isolate Yano again. However, this left Yano in the ring alone with Kanemaru, the junior heavyweight. So after attempting to out cheat each other, Yano managed to hit a low blow on Kanemaru and pin him.

Yano then ran away to get away from Davey Boy Smith Jr.
Ryusuke Taguchi & Hiroshi Tanahasi vs. Suzuki-gun (Taichi & Takashi Iizuka)
When looking at this match, it was pretty clear who was going to eat the pin. Taichi just became a heavyweight, so the easy answer was Taguchi or Iizuka. It turns out it was Taguchi in this one. Taichi hit a superkick on Taguchi towards the end, and Iizuka used his iron claw to finish him off when the ref’s back was turned.

CHAOS (Chuck Taylor & Kazuchika Okada) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI & SANADA)
This was a fun tag match. Seeing Chuck Taylor team with Okada is quite the strange combination.
However, they do team together was, as The Rainmaker and Chuckie T have a good match here that sets up Taylor’s match with SANADA tomorrow.
Most of the match was spent getting the heat on Taylor until Okada could tag in. Okada eventually put the cobra clutch on BUSHI and secured the submission.
