Kenny King (c) vs. Silas Young – ROH Television Title Match

This was an unannounced match, so we were treated to a surprise on the show. Kenny King recent won the Television title from Silas. Silas, however, showed that he wasn’t going anywhere at Manhattan Mayhem and thus this match was set up. Kenny hopes to continue his momentum by keeping the TV title.

King and Silas exchanged some quick offense and Silas sent King flying to the outside into one of the ringside crew. Not long after, Kenny tried to suplex Silas over the top rope to the outside. Silas hung on and both men crashed to the ringside area. That was crazy. Both men almost got counted out but made their way back into the ring. Kenny hit a huge corkscrew splash onto Silas and followed up with belly to belly suplex on the outside.

Back in the ring, Kenny hit a huge spinebuster. Silas managed to hit the Pee Gee Waja Plunge, but King kicked out. Kenny also got hit with Misery, but the referee got hit and couldn’t make the count on time. Silas went for a slingshot into the ring, but Kenny King caught him and hit the Royal Flush for the pinfall.

Result: Kenny King

Rating: 2.75 out of 5 stars

After the match, Austin Aries walked out with all of his titles, making his ROH return! The current Impact Wrestling World Champion is back in ROH! Aries is back home, and he tells Kenny King that he’s on a mission to collect belts from all around the world. The only belt he hasn’t won in ROH is the Television title. This means that Impact and ROH must have come to some sort of agreement, which is only good for both companies, in my opinion.
